Today it includes the premium McCrispy sandwich family, crunchy McCrispy Strips, the returning Snack Wraps and the budget-friendly McChicken, plus the Filet-O-Fish for seafood fans. Chicken is also where the McDonald’s menu hides some of its best deals. The 4-piece McNuggets and McChicken are both on the McValue Under $3 menu, and a 20-piece McNuggets costs only a couple of dollars more than a 10-piece.

Chicken McNuggets prices by size

McCrispy vs. McChicken
The McCrispy is McDonald’s premium chicken sandwich, with a thick whole-breast fillet and crinkle-cut pickles on a potato roll for about $5.49. The McChicken is the value option, with a smaller formed patty, lettuce and mayo for around $2.89. If you want the most chicken for your money, the McCrispy has nearly twice the protein.
Filet-O-Fish
The Filet-O-Fish uses wild-caught Alaska pollock with tartar sauce and half a slice of cheese on a steamed bun. Look for two-for deals in the spring during Lent, when it is at its most popular.
